Ahead of IZ*ONE’s comeback on December 7 at 6 p.m. KST, the group will be performing their new title track for the first time at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2020 MAMA) on December 6. However, what caught our eyes are the teasers of IZ*ONE comeback concepts (especially the hair). On November 23 at midnight KST, IZ*ONE released their first teaser for their upcoming return in December: a cinema-inspired poster resembling a ticket with all of the members’ names and the words “One-reeler: Act IV.”
The varying shades of blonde and brown hair colours blended perfectly with the maple leaf season. The colour palette seems to be a direct derivation from sunlight shining across the lands of Korea in Fall. Apart from the chic short hair of leader Eunbi, it also looks like the long wavy hair trends are here to stay.

On 28 November, IZ*ONE also released a new batch of individual teasers for showcasing their “Stay Bold” concept, which I am also particularly impressed with. The concept features a more glamorous theme, with a strong focus on the colour red. So if ladies are also looking for Christmas styles, these shades of gold (blonde) and red will definitely shine throughout the festive season as well.
I am excited with the IZ*ONE comeback and looking at how the hair concepts will enhance the stage outfits. When it comes to Korean idol comeback, you can expect every subtle detail to complement each other to deliver that perfect performance.
